The Practice

Established over a hundred years ago, the practice is a busy, well resourced surgery striving to provide the highest possible standard of care for our patients.

The surgery is located in part of the health centre in the town centre and occupies most of the ground floor of the building. All the doctor and nurse consulting and treatment rooms are located close together. There is a large open plan waiting area set away from the consulting rooms to provide more privacy during consultations.

The treatment rooms are are well equipped, providing a range of health promotion and diagnostic assessment services. The practice is fully computerised and is 'paperlight', including the appointment system, prescribing and patient health records.

The remainder of the building is occupied by a variety of other users including staff providing outreach clinics for hearing, speech therapy and counselling.
